Big opinions.
Small data footprint.
Updated 11 September 2026. Would You Rather is operated by FPF Trust and designed for ages 12 and up.
What happens when you vote?
We send the question number, your A or B choice, and a newly generated random receipt to our voting database. Each receipt belongs to one vote, not a player profile. It lets us retry a failed request without counting that same vote twice. The database does not contain names, email addresses, birthdays or account profiles. Votes remain in the database to support the public totals.
Your browser stores your choices and receipts locally so it can remember which questions you answered. These records remain until you clear site data. Results are shared counts across submitted votes. They are informal, self-selected opinions, not verified unique people or representative survey results. Another device or cleared storage can permit another vote.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics is disabled throughout /wyr, including this notice, even if you accepted analytics in the meeting converter. This edition does not serve advertisements in the game. Before advertising is enabled, it must use age-appropriate restricted treatment and this notice must describe the services actually enabled. The main website’s AdSense publisher verification is retained; verification does not itself load ads.
Hosting
OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers serve the pages and voting database. They receive normal connection information, such as IP addresses and requested URLs, and may use operational logs or security cookies. The voting application does not save IP addresses in its vote records. See OpenAI’s privacy policy.
For players and parents
There are no public comments, chats, uploads or direct messages. Questions are fictional discussion starters, never challenges to perform. You can skip any question. Do not use someone’s answer to mock, pressure or exclude them.
The collection pairs editor-reviewed scenarios into 1,000 distinct dilemmas across 10 themes. Some scenarios recur in different match-ups. Repeated scenarios allow a different tradeoff; they do not indicate additional people or additional votes.
Questions and corrections
Contact fpeverini@gmail.com with a question number if something needs attention. If requesting removal of your own vote, include its receipt from your browser data; we have no name-based account lookup. Please avoid sending children’s personal details. Information you email is used to respond to the enquiry.
